DMCA Policy
Sausage Rolls respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that are properly provided to us.
This policy describes the information that should be present in a DMCA Notice of Infringement and a DMCA Counter-Notification. It is designed to make the process of reporting and counter-reporting copyright infringement clear and efficient.
Filing a DMCA Notice of Infringement
If you believe that any content hosted on Sausage Rolls infringes your copyrighted work, please send a written DMCA Notice of Infringement to our designated Copyright Agent with the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work: Provide a description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the infringing material: Identify the material that you claim is infringing (or the subject of infringing activity) and that is to be removed or access disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g., URL(s) of the specific page(s) where the material is found).
- Your contact information: Provide your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- Statement of good faith belief: Include a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Statement of accuracy and authority: Include a statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Electronic or physical signature: Provide your electronic or physical signature (typing your full legal name is acceptable).
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA Notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material and take reasonable steps to notify the user who posted the material.
Filing a DMCA Counter-Notification
If your content was removed or access disabled due to a DMCA Notice and you believe that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material, you may submit a DMCA Counter-Notification to our designated Copyright Agent. Your Counter-Notification must include the following:
- Identification of the material removed: Identify the specific material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location (e.g., URL(s)) where the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
- Statement under penalty of perjury: Include a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
- Your contact information: Provide your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- Consent to jurisdiction: Include a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or if you are outside of the U.S., for any judicial district in which Sausage Rolls may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA Notice or an agent of such person.
- Your physical or electronic signature: Provide your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is acceptable).
Upon receipt of a valid Counter-Notification, we will send a copy of the Counter-Notification to the original complaining party. Unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order against the content provider, member, or user, the removed material may be replaced, or access to it restored, in 10 to 14 business days or more after receipt of the Counter-Notification, at Sausage Rolls's sole discretion.
